Sometimes the keyboard will lose power because of insufficient MAH provided by the USB port.

The keyboard consumes 500+mA when all backlighting is on.  If the keyboard is plugged through a USB hub or a front port on the desktop this issue may happen as the USB can not push enough power. We recommend using power from the back of your computer that will push a sufficient amount of power.
